The People’s Committee of Ninh Binh Province has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Construction for the development of several strategic transport infrastructure projects, most notably the construction of Ninh Binh International Airport, which is planned to be located in Liem Tuyen Ward.
The Ministry of Construction has urged Ninh Binh authorities to prepare a feasibility study on the potential development of an international airport in the province, the ministry said in a report submitted to the Government regarding a proposal from private construction company Xuan Truong.
The Government Office has recently sent a document to the Minister of Construction and the provincial People’s Committees of Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam provinces, and Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise, conveying Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha’s instruction on proposed projects on building an international airport, roads and bridges in Ninh Binh.Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise suggest to build an international airport in Y Yen district (Nam Dinh province).
